  • offering you emergency accommodation
  • completing an assessment to understand your situation better
  • helping you access other services that can help
  • recommending you register for social housing.

    Live Well Kent & Medway can provide support for people who are sofa surfing, or whose housing situation is affecting their mental health.

    Sevenoaks District Council Housing advice drop-in sessions
    Sevenoaks Council’s Housing Hub offers a one-stop shop to discuss any housing issue or concerns in confidence with council staff and organisations they partner with.
    Providing support on matters such as money saving, fuel bills, housing, benefits, drug and alcohol use, domestic abuse, rough sleeping and neighbour disputes.

    Sevenoaks Council’s HERO service provides support to people living in the area that own or privately rent their homes.
    Providing personalised support on matters such as money saving and debt, benefits, employment, other support services and referrals for housing advice.

    West Kent Mediation
    West Kent Mediation offer free, professional, and confidential mediation services for people experiencing relationship breakdowns or conflicts.
    If you’re at risk of homelessness due to relationship breakdown or conflict with housemates or family members mediation might help resolve issues, provided all parties are willing to participate.
